The Bear Site: Still A Learning Curve

I just found this site a few days ago. I wanted someplace to write my journal-like stuff...everyday ramblings, tips on different things, my thoughts about current events, and so on.

I'm not really tech-savvy. I just know the how-to's of what I need as a retired 70 yr old Grandma, which mostly just your basic computer stuff. I've had a computer since the Windows 95 came out. I just know the programmable stuff...install/uninstall, copy/paste, zoom in/zoom out, etc. I know nothing of the INSIDE of a desktop/laptop, like in how to build a desktop. I've updated OS every 3 to 4 years since. I'm on Windows 11 now.

Haven't really had a chance yet to put in headers, links, or any of that on here yet. But my favorite part of a website like this or anything on a computer, is the "settings" part...lol. I get to play, and see what all I can do.. or mess up...lol. No,, actually, after all these years, I pretty much know what settings to play with, and what to leave alone.

Does anybody actually get feedback from their posts? Does anybody copy/paste anymore? I'm thinking about skipping the footer "reply by email" and just put that on the top header, under contact. I've seen alot of folks do that. Yes, I do read other blogs on here...some are quite interesting tho.

I'm also thinking of adding a couple "pages" to my blog. Not today, but maybe in a week or so. I'm thinking creative side-hustle type stuff on the computer too. I've already done some for myself and family tho...

Until next time..... Reply via email
